My name is Dr. Jermaine D. Dickerson Sr. As Principal, I lead a school where student thinking is visible, meaningful, and connected to each child’s unique identity. At P.S. 170, students take ownership of their learning through intentional teaching, growth opportunities, and choice-driven activities, all within a supportive and nurturing community.
I am committed to inclusive, equity-centered leadership that highlights restorative practices, instructional excellence, and the brilliance of all our children. By working closely with teachers, staff, and families, we create a culture where every voice matters and every student is supported to thrive.
